Dee's Cream Puffs

Fluffy, light delicious treats!

ingredients for cream puffs

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup Gold Medal Flour
  • 4 medium eggs

INGREDIENTS FOR CREAM FILLING

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 small box of instant vanilla or chocolate pudding
  • 2/3 cups milk

Directions FOR CREAM PUFFS

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Lightly grease bottom of pan
  • Heat water and butter to boil
  • Stir in flour. Stir vigorously over low heat about one minute or until mixture forms a ball
  • Remove from heat. Beat in eggs all at one time. Continue beating until smooth.
  • Drop dough by teaspoon, three inches apart (for bite-size)
  • Bake 23 minutes or unti golden brown
  • Cool away from draft
  • Cut tops 3/4 and fill with cream filling
  • Repace tops and dust with confetioner sugar, if desired
  • Refrigerate until serving

directions for cream filling

  • Beat cream for three minutes
  • Put milk and pudding in and whip
  • Set in fridge until you're ready to fill the puffs
  • Enjoy!
