2010 Meetings and events

CVMC meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. The location of meetings is established by CVMC volunteers and changes to a different restaurant each month.

Members gather at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy a meal and social time, which is followed by a discussion of club business and the opportunity to share news about our cars or other information of interest to club members.

Rallies are held throughout the year and provide opportunities to enjoy a group Miata drive through the beautiful Virginia countryside. Although the schedule varies, rallies are generally held on the third Saturday of each month, weather permitting.

Rally highlights

Rally: May 22—Cancelled

I have monitored weather forecasts from The Weather Channel, NBC12 and The Weather Underground. All predict a very likely chance of rain throughout the day and possible thunderstorms. The ride to Vesuvius is a nice winding trip and should be enjoyed in nice “top down” weather. In addition, safety is a concern in regard to winding wet roads.

We look forward to seeing you at the June rally hosted by Jim and Lynnette.

All the best, Bud
